The Salvis Classic model covers the traditional salamander requirements. Compact and powerful. The centrepiece is the plate recognition system. It switches on the heating elements as soon as the food to be gratinated is inserted. The heating elements switch off automatically when the food is removed. The energy saving is over 70%.

The Salvis salamanders for the catering kitchen have a stable warming plate and a continuously height-adjustable heating reflector for precise temperature setting. The Classic models are equipped with an analogue 15-minute timer and switch off automatically after a signal tone. 

There are 3 operating modes to choose from: manual, semi-automatic or fully automatic. Regardless of the operating mode, the Salvis Salamander Classic is highly energy-efficient thanks to the extra-fast HiLight heating system.

Safe operation is ensured by the always cold handle bar, which remains pleasantly cool even in continuous operation. All Gastro Salvis salamanders are easy to clean and fulfil the high hygiene requirements.
