Salvis AG is the leading choice for thermal appliances in professional kitchens. We are offering an electrician a very exciting and challenging position with significant development potential. In addition to providing support (hotline) and handling repairs (induction technology), you will be responsible for a range of product groups (ranges, pressure steamers, tilting cookers, induction cookers). With your in-depth expertise, you will eventually also offer training courses for service technicians and specialist retailers – in German and English.
Support
- Helpline (phone, online, written) for service technicians and dealers
- Support for export managers
- Collaboration with production and development
Repairs
- Workshop repairs, overhauls and inspections of induction loops and equipment
- In complex cases, on-site operations at the customer's location are required.
- Developing electrotechnical solutions
- quality check
- Customer visits for on-site repairs/training, occasionally also abroad
Training courses (German, English)
After thorough training and deepening of product knowledge, and depending on existing language skills:
- Organizing, preparing and conducting in-person and online training courses at various levels for service technicians and dealers
Administration
- Issuing repair quotes
- Maintaining the failure statistics
- processing complaints
- Product data maintenance
Requirements
- Completed apprenticeship as an electrician (EFZ) / automotive mechatronics technician / automation technician
- English skills at least A2 level (French skills are a plus)
- Willingness to initially gain experience as a service technician (field service).
- Quick learner, willing to learn, open to new things
- Independent, responsible, flexible
- Entrepreneurial thinking and action, resilience
- Willing to work on-site at the customer's location or to undertake an international assignment
- Enjoyment of and good interaction with people
- Interest in methodology, didactics, knowledge transfer, and presentation techniques
- Knowledge of MS Office products (PowerPoint, Word, etc.)

Main tasks
- Maintenance and repairs of professional commercial kitchen equipment
- Repair of appliances in the Oftringen workshop
- Assistance with the handling of trade fair equipment
- Assistance with deliveries and installations of entire commercial kitchens
- Willingness to assist with the installation of herd systems on construction sites
Your profile
- Completed technical training (EFZ), e.g., electrician, automation technician, polymechanic or similar
- Good electrical engineering knowledge
- Very good knowledge of German in spoken and written
- Experience as a service technician is an advantage.
- Independent, responsible and flexible work style

- Willingness to work outside of normal office hours
- On-call duty, approximately once per quarter
