With around 50 employees at our Oftringen site, we are committed to our customers in the catering and communal catering sectors.

Our Success story

Milestones in device development

Our inventive genius has developed many high-quality appliances for professional kitchens, making the work of kitchen professionals significantly easier. Milestones in the development of appliances include the first electric cooker from Salvis, the first professional pressure steamer and the first salamander with a movable reflector, which was immediately widely used.

1915

Foundation of the Salvis company by Emil Salvisberg in Lucerne, Reussbühl.

1960

Salvis is taken over by the Eichhof brewery in Lucerne. Success is increasingly determined by large-scale kitchen ranges.

1997

The merger with Franke Verpflegungstechnik AG took place - the key for international expansion.

2006

Salvis is integrated into the Gustatus investment company. The relaunch of the Salvis brand is initiated.

1915

Salvis celebrates its 100th anniversary. Reliability and the design are typical recognition features.

2025

110 years of Salvis AG - With an average of 50 employees at the Oftringen site and several new product lines, we are a reliable supplier for commercial kitchens.
